Advice on useful protective spells to make permanent searched [Archive] - Wizards Community

As the title indicates, i am searching for usefull spells to make permanent (3.0 btw). Right now my wizard hit 14 level and i wanted to equipe him with some nice protective spells... But please stay reasonable, permanent True Seeing for example is kinda unrealistic (at least for my DM)

Would be great if you could give me some advice...

02-04-04, 05:52 PM Ok, there arent any. Not that I know of. Endure elements? Maybe. Enlarge for a str buff, sure.

But buffs, mage armor, invisibility, those cannot be made permanent.

I suggest snagging the craft wondrous Item feat and cranking out some serious bling.

02-04-04, 06:20 PM Permanent "protection from arrows" is nice. Combine it with a permanent fly spell and no ground based creature can hurt you.

You just float 30' in the air and laugh at them while their arrows, daggers, and sling stones bounce off of you.

But when it comes right down to it, how much help do you need from us to pick from the plethora of protection from XYZ spells?
