First of all, hi everyone! I'm a new guy! :D
I've a question about the spell in my thread's title, Algid enhancement. Doesn't it seem to be too much powerfull? I mean, it gives up bonuses to ac and attack rolls for 24 hours! It's true that it can only be cast on cold-subtype creatures, but I think her enhancement bonuses are too high to be allowed all day long. Are there some errata or the spell is right as it's presented on Frostburn?

This spell is sure written in the 3.0 spell duration mind set, where the buff spells lasted all day. Even so, it's not so over powered. It is a 6th level spell after all, and 6th level is a high level spell.

This spell has two big balance notes-
1.Only effects [Cold] type creatures. Naturaly, this cuts down your list of targets. It's a very limited spell.
2.You need Coldfire as a component. And Coldfire is 'quite rare'.
