Does that mean that only Good Aligned Characters can cast Good on there weapons and Good only? and the same the same goes for Evil, Chaotic? Also somebody explain to me why some evil creatures damage reduction is 15/Evil, shouldn't it be like 15/Good? |

No good priest is allowed to do that, but a nuetral priest is OK with it, as is any wizard, even a good wizard. In addition, spells like Dispell Evil will work on the Evil effect, but not Dispell Good. ------- As for the creature DR, which creature are you talking about? I personally think the DR should have been handled the way you object, instead of usually being done the standard way. I.E. creatures of your own type should ignore your DR, so that you may fight among yourself, but creatures of the opposing type should have a harder time. This is basically an evolutionary argument as well - you evolve protection against what you fight, but your associates quickly figure out ways to attack you if they have to. If I was a holy angel, I would certainly prefer to be vunerable to my friends and allies than my enemies. I would have a long talk with any God that created me so that I was protected against my friends but gave no protection against the vile demons. Demons should have a similar argument. |

Thus, an Evil outsider has DR that can only be overcome by a Good weapon. Kaladon, remember that DR 15/Good is DR 15 overcome by Good, not DR 15 against Good, as counterintuitive as that may first appear. Think of it as "DR 15 except Good". |
