Isn't there a spell that can change a character's alingment? Also isn't there a feat that a half-elf can take to gain the racial benefits of a full elf.

What do you mean by "racial benefits," precisely? A half-elf is considered to be an elf for purposes of determining whether he or she can use magical items that are designed to function only for elves.

And yes, there are some spells that can change a character's alignment, but none of them are core.

where can i find these spells. and what i am talking about with the elves is a feat that gets them the +2 on the listen, search, and spot skills.

Atonement can be used to change a character's alignment, providing the character is willing to have it changed.

Atonement doesn’t work to change alignment unless it was already almost changed (normally true if you want it changed).

If you mean force an alignment change they should not be allowed a they destroy well designed roll played characters. I wont post my full example of why it takes to long to type. Its on the boards somewhere under helm of opposite alignment.

The only spell that might force an alaignment change is a wish (et al) or a bestow curse. A helm of opposite alignment will do the same thing.
