as the title intimates, i am looking for some serious eyewear

as it stands now, i have a pair of goggles of minute seeing which have been further enchanted with eyes of the eagle power.

basically, +5 search, +5 spot...

what i am looking for is darkvision, and possibly arcane sight (not continuous, per se...times/day or limited time would be cool, too)

so, what am i looking at for $$$?

goggle of night are 12,000gp by themselves...won't that get bumped up for adding more properties on to an already enchanted item?

and arcane sight would add
CL * Spell Level * 1800(command word) * (times per day /5) * 1.5 (multiple powers)?
5 * 3 * 1800 * 3/5 * 1.5 = 24,300 gp???

or 18,000 gp for the darkvision
and 24, 300 for the arcane sight?

if i am missing something, or screwing up my math, please help...

thanks all

Are these a separate set of goggles, or is this additional abilities added to your already-enhanced goggles of minute seeing / eagle vision?

If the former, I think you're all set. If the latter, you need to multiply both the darkvision and the arcane sight by 1.5 for multiple abilities. Rather than 18,000 and 24,300 it would be 27,000 and 24,300gp respectively.

Lastly, can multiple powers be used at the same time? If so, leave as is. If you absolutely cannot use more than one vision ability at a time, you might be in for a slight overall price reduction.

well, the 18k and 24k was assuming the 1.5x modifier for more powers on existing gear...

goggles of night are normally 12k, and give darkvision 60ft
arcane sight i worked with the use activated 3/day formula...

but that makes sense, now that i think about it

looks like i need to make some $ soon...

or get a new set of glasses!

it may be cheaper to get a set of goggles of night and add the lesser powers than the other way around

12,000 + (1250 *1.5) + (2500 *1.5) =17, 625...that is MUCH more cost efficient

thanks for the help
