Allegiances in D&D [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-29-04, 03:31 PM If one was to say to bring in Allegiances (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/msrd) into the D&D rules, how would that affect spells with alignment descriptions and uses, or even spells in general?

04-29-04, 03:44 PM Well, you would get rid of alignment entirely, so there would be no alignment based spells.

You'd have to also change the Paladin, because he is supposed to fight Evil, yet with allegiances, it's hard to define what he would be fighting against.
