| Alten_Freehands02-06-07, 10:48 AM | I googled looking for the effectivness of the Noctumancer's counterspelling ability. All the CO posts recomended that the spells board was the best place for this. Seeing as how the general agreement of the class is that it's not optimized. I have made up my mind on playing the class and, that falls under the whole "Stormwind Fallacy" which is a slippery slope there. I like the flavor of being able to counterspell almost at will, I know that the Sor/AM/MoS with cantrips of every school is the most optimized but I think this one will fit the campaign more. I am just looking for sucess stories or failures on it being effective at all. The campaign is in the underdark and mysteries not subject to SR is what sparked my intereset. Seeing as how there are more than a few creatures in the underdark with good SR, this seemed like a good choice. Thanks in advance for any help and/or advice. |
