Alter Form version 3 vs 3.5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-14-04, 01:55 PM		Okay I am just a little confused on this. I have the version 3 handbook and after reading I was under the impression I could "change" either my whole body or only a part of it (Example if I only wanted a pair of wings I could just add the wings, or add a pair of gills.)

But after reading a friends 3.5 version I pretty much says I completly change my whole body. So If I wanted wings gotta turn into a race with wings? (Would an half dragon work?)

Or am I allowed to do both? :)

A half dragon will not work because you can't use templates. There is a winged elf in forgottenrules. So you would have to ask your DM if you can use it.
