Archmage Evender 10-30-03, 05:17 PM	Well i am going to make sor and was thinking of putting this spell on my list. What is the best creature to turn into from the 3.5 MM.
startide 10-30-03, 05:36 PM	that's kinda vague. if you want to sit on the bottom of a lake without drowning, i'd say the aquatic elf is the best thing to alter self into. if you want to fly during combat, something with wings is probably a good bet. if you want to seduce a guard, i'd try changing into a hot chick :angel:
cwslyclgh 10-30-03, 05:56 PM	most of the time it will probably prove most usefull to turn into a different appearing member of you own race, or other common races (elfs, orcs, etc.) however for special occasions a Locathah might be nice for taking a dip in the cool ocean waters, etc. (unfortunatly there are no creatures with the humaniod type that have wings in the core rules... if you DM allows it the Avarial from Races of Faerun is a winged elf that could be used with this spell).
