| Speters051908-19-07, 03:50 PM | Is it possible to use the High Arcana alter shape special feature to alter an antimagic shell so that it covers a thin pieces of the area you occupy, much like a antimagic shield, that you can direct? Is that possible? I might not be getting my idea across effectively... |
| DeathXI08-19-07, 03:59 PM | You essentially want a "force-field" (Or invisible suit of armor) Such as Mage Armor, in the form of anti-magic, right? (I don't have an answer, just wanted to clarify for future posters :) ) |
| shyxander08-19-07, 05:18 PM | you mean the mastery of shaping high arcana in the arch mage prestige class? "Mastery of Shaping The archmage can alter area and effect spells that use one of the following shapes: burst, cone, cylinder, emanation, or spread. The alteration consists of creating spaces within the spell’s area or effect that are not subject to the spell. The minimum dimension for these spaces is a 5-foot cube. Furthermore, any shapeable spells have a minimum dimension of 5 feet instead of 10 feet. This ability costs one 6th-level spell slot. " you could surround yourself with it but couldn't have it share your space. |
