Looking at making a Master Transmogrifist/Sorcerer and toying with the idea of being a Tallfellow halfling (Variant out of the MM1). MT gets a big boost by basically being able to be perma Alter Selfed at will.

As a Halfling I am type Humanoid. Since Halflings are small, I can't Alter Self into a large being. Normally I would worry about a restriction like this but as I look at the MMs, I am not seeing any large humanoids. Am I over looking something? Granted I can change into a tiny humanoid and I don't see any of those either too.

As a second question, what are your favorite shapes to Polymorf into and Why? I will probalby pick a couple dragons for my Favored shapes, and the Wyvern as her flavor is dragon oriented/based but I don't want ot limit myself to all dragons, as there might be other abilities I will want that the dragons don't have. (thinking of the Choker in MM for instance)

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hughman.

The halfling (and any small humanoid) benefits from alter self better than medium humanoids because it allows the smaller forms. You're right... there aren't a lot of Large humanoids to make the size increase limit seem like much of a restriction at all!
