Anyone got a list of non-monsterous humanioid forms that can be useed to better your AC, and movment capabilities. Some that I already know about include. Orc, Goblin, hobgoblin... Anyone got any others.

Here are some more and what the benefit is to this race (were creatures are in mid-were-form)
Werebear +7AC
Wererat +3AC
Weretiger +5AC
Locathath +3AC, amphibious, swim 60
Merfolk swim 50, amphibious
Elf, Aquatic swim 40, amphibious
Gnoll +1AC
Bugbear +3AC
WereBoar +8AC
WereWolf +4AC
Lizardfolk +5AC
Troglodyte +6AC
Goblin +1AC
Kobold +2AC

So far in my search I have not found any flyers, anyone know of one?

The alter self spell do not allow template even if it does change the creature type(PHBp.197).

The raptoran from race of the wild can glide & at 5 hit dice it can fly.

If you are using only the SRD, or the Cor rule books, ie DMG,PHB, and MM, then Were creatures are not templated. If you add the Complete series, they are still not templated. They only become templated when you add older books that allow monsterous humanoid classes, like the ROF, and Species books. Our group however is limited to Core Material, and a limited form of the Complete series, none of which mention were creatures as a templated monster. So I guess that would make it allowable for use with alter-self. We as of yet in three years have note used any templates as far as I know.

Interesting thought, but try again. Page 175 of the Monster Manual "Creating a Lycanthrope". It states clearly that it's a template.

Lizard Folk are pretty good with AC, but ultimately you're going to need to forgo Alter Self for Polymorph so you can be dragon.

3.5 Forms for Alter Self. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=176246)The problem with this list is that you have to verify every entry. Crucian form does not give Iron Will and Weapon focus (warhammer), it does not give any bonus feat.
And the list seriously needs an update (Mongrelfolk entry, for example…)

Were-whatevers are not legal forms to change into with alter self or any of its descendants (polymorph or shapechange), because Lycanthrope is a template, and templates are disallowed from all these spells. (You similarly can't turn into a Half-Dragon, a Fiendish creature, a Vampire -- though you can turn into a Vampire Spawn with shapechange -- etc.)

I think the highest you can possibly boost your AC with alter self as a Humanoid is the Poison Dusk Lizardfolk.

The alter self spell do not allow template even if it does change the creature type(PHBp.197).

The raptoran from race of the wild can glide & at 5 hit dice it can fly.

Can't turn into something with advanced HD with alter self (or any of its descendants) either, so the Raptoran form will only allow you to glide.
