| Skunkape12-30-04, 09:40 AM | I've searched in the forms and haven't seen the answer to this, so I'm gonna post it. Has anyone come up with a system for spells casting that uses an energy pool to cast spells instead of a per day number. To explain, you have say 5 points of mana per level as a spell caster. Spells cost a number of energy points equal to their level to cast. So a first level spell costs 1 ep, a second 2 ep, etc. I'm looking for a system that has been play tested and balanced. Just haven't seen one yet. Would prefer a published one, but will look at homebrews also. Reason why I'd prefer a published one is usually, published ones are the most balanced. Notice I say usually. :) Anyway, any info would be appreciated. Thanks. |
