Balanced? Amulet of Deeper Darkness This amulet radiates shadowy illumination in a upto a 60-foot radius (minimum of 5-foot radius) upon command and functions like the darkness spell. Faint transmutation: CL 5th; Craft Wonderous item, Deeper Darkness; Price 15,000 gp. Obviously its based on "Use-Activated or Continous", even though you can use a Command Word to adjust the radius. Basically it is going to be used by a Shadowlord character who doesn't wish to continously put allies in darkness and still maintain access to class benefits. Should I up the price since its diverging from the spell? Or is it enough that its a Wonderous Item and doesn't have to confirm to the exact spell description? Is this done properly? Comments, criticisms?
