What is up with pricing for Amulet of the Mighty Fists? According to the items creation calculation it should be bonus squared x 2000.

So, +1 2000, +2 8000, +3 18000, +4 32000, and +5 50000. One could argue that weapon enhancement don't belong on an amulet so that would make them all 1.5x more expensive, but not
+1 6000, +2 24000, +3 54000, +4 96000, and +5 150000 as stated in the Sword and Fist. Am I missing something or is this just screwed?

Give an amulet of mighty fists to a hydra and you'll see why it's priced the way it is. It would be like giving 12 +1 weapons to the creature. The amulet affects ALL natural weapons, so it has a rather high price compared to a generic weapon.

1) Yes, they are weapon enchantments, and they don't belong on an amulet. X1.5

2) They affect not just one weapon, but ALL your natural weapons. As in an amulet could increase a monster's gore attack, antler attack, claw attack, bite attack, and grapple attack.

For a human it increases both the attack made using your good hand and your off hand.
So x2

The reason its more is to gaurd against the natural weapons. My question on this subject is if you have Greater Magic Fang cast on you permanently does the amulet stack?

No. GMF and the Amulets are both Enhancment Bonuses.

What's fun is when your DM lets you get an amulet of mighty fists (+5, vorpal) for 600,000 gp.

'Course, by that level, there's a feat that does that.

Keep in mind that an amulet of +5 to unarmed attacks is much different from a kama/nunchaku/siangham that's +5.

Why?

Unarmed damage scales with level. Weapons don't.

You can stunning fist with unarmed. Not with weapons.

You do unarmed damage when grappling. You must take certain penalties to damage with a weapon.

Personally, given points #1 and #2, I kinda consider the amulets of mighty fists slightly underpriced.

There's also Necklace of Natural Attacks (which can mean unarmed strikes, SS) and Battle Gauntlets (A&EG). Both serve the same effect for monks.

Oh ok, that explains alot. I missed that part about it affecting all attacks. The reason I asked was not for a monk but a druid in wild shape.

Does a Necklace of NA give +1,+2,etc to one NA?

its 600gp + price bonus x number of natural weapons. You can also give it any sort of weapon ability. Holy, unholy, shocking burst, throwing, returning, etc.
