| Evandar_TAybara01-31-06, 05:09 AM | From the SRD: Amulet of Natural Armour: This amulet, usually crafted from bone or beast scales, toughens the wearer’s body and flesh, giving him an enhancement bonus to his natural armour bonus of from +1 to +5, depending on the kind of amulet. Faint transmutation; CL 5th; Craft Wondrous Item, barkskin, creator’s caster level must be at least three times the amulet’s bonus; Price 2,000 gp (+1), 8,000 gp (+2), 18,000 gp (+3), 32,000 gp (+4), or 50,000 gp (+5). As this provides an enhancement bonus to natural armour, presumably if the creature wearing this has natural armour already, his natural armour and the bonus from the amulet stack? Is this a change to 3.0 rules? I ask because we've never allowed these to stack before and I was wondering where we'd got that error (if it is one) from. Evan. |

Correct Is this a change to 3.0 rules? That's also correct. Basically, the spell barkskin was altered so that druids and wizards could cast the spell on their animal companions to help protect them. When they altered the spell, they also altered the item based on the spell. |
