I am sorry about the question, but I have to ask, that how does druid (or any other spellcaster) have bonus spells for having a high wisdom (or any other abilty)?

It says so in the chapter in the PHB before the races, if I remember correctly. It's a chapter about ability scores. It has a table with bonus spells you get for high ability score. Give me a minute, I'll look up the page for you.

Page 8 of the PHB, Table 1-1.

Yeh can't miss it.

Spell casting character with positive ability modifier in the relevant stat has additional spell slots.
Caster that is not spontaneus caster (like sorceress) generally fills all his spell slots each time he "prepares spells" (usually morning for wizards, dawn, dusk, midnight or midday for clerics).
As a result, having more spells slots filled means that character can cast more spells in a day, before they run out.

As mentioned in previous post, there is a table that tells how many additional spell slots character gets based on his ability score, in PHB chapter 1. Note that character does only gain additional slots for those spell levels he can allready use.
