In essence it's a Portable Hole, wide enough to use as a cape that somehow has the components of a cape necessary to fasten it about the neck attached to one end. It kind of reminds me of Cloak from Marvel's Cloak and Dagger. Any thoughts?

Would have to be a different magic item. And what would be the use?

I had the idea for portable hole armor and, ponder this, a sphere of annihilation adapted as armor or a sword. I'm working on a character that uses the sword and armor of annihilation now actually.

Yes, it would have to be different version of the Portable Hole in terms of some of the game mechanics. Uses: on your back storage that's got some differences from the Haversack; a place to retreat to; a place to put someone you're not liking right now.

Ah, thanks for enlightening me, I was not aware of the puncturing of it. Its one of those slap forehead and say duh moments. Sorry. Are there any loopholes in my annihilation armor and sword if the OP doesnt mind me asking?
cwslyclgh 02-22-07, 08:33 PM	Cloak (of Cloak and Dagger) can access an entire dimension through his cloak, and use it to do a lot more things then just store stuff... the idea you have here sounds more like Eric Simon Payne (Devilslayer)'s cloak (also from Marvel Comics), in which he stores a variety of weapons and such. I would probably base such an item more on a heward's handy haversack then a portable hole.

When undead attack you, you spread the cape, undo the shrinking spell...instant impenetrable barrier.
