I re-submit this question in a more suitable bulletin section, waiting for a clever Wizard to solve my doubt: is it possible to perform a "Coup de Grace" action with a Contact Spell, if the contitions admit it? (i.e.: the foe is incapacited or is impossible for him to defend himself and the PC takes a full round action)

I think it's possible because Contact Spells are treated as weapons in many cases:
- behave as weapons as they score Critical Hits or Critical Failures
- are subject to Feats benefits such as Weapon Focus (Ray) or Improved Critical (Touch)
- can score Sneak Attacks if the conditions admits it (i.e.: the foe looses his DEX bonus)

So i think that can be easily used to perform a Coup de Grace action, but i've found no evidence in rules or errata: they only say that a Coup de Grace could be performed with any weapon (even a ranged weapon) if the PC takes a Full Round action and occupies a square near to the foe.

So: is a Contact Spell treated as a Weapon in this case too?

a Coup de Grace could be performed with any weapon (even a ranged weapon)actually, the book only lists "a melee weapon" and "a bow or crossbow".

if the spell deals appropriate damage (and in an appropriate way), I'd allow it.

I would (and have) allow(ed) it.

Yes, a touch or ranged touch spell is pretty much considered an attack, so you could Coup de Grace with one. Of course, if the spell doesn't deal damage there's no point, and if using a ray you would have to be adjacent to the thing your coup de gracing, but yeah. I would say you can do it.
