OK, stop me if I'm wrong here... Wands are not weapons, so you don't take penalties for holding two. A Quickened Magic Missile and a Maximized Magic Missile still count as a first level spell. Wands do not give enemies AoOs. Here's the dilemma, if I'm holding two wands, do I have to trigger them separately or can I pull the two triggers at the same time?

You have to trigger them separately and unless you have quick draw you must draw them separately.

Also wands don't have triggers, they are spell trigger items. Which means you must have the spell on your spell list to use the item and the item requires a standard action to activate.

And wands do not have triggers that you pull.

Wands are "spell trigger" items, which means that it takes a standard action to activate one, and (normally) you must have the spell on your class' spell list to be able to use the wand.

[Edit: hmmm...slow connection means a now-redundant post...hehe.]

So "firing" a wand with a quickened spell is useless?

Yes.

Plus, you can't have a wand with a quickened spell because Quicken raises the spell level by 4 and wands can only handle up to 4th level spells. (Unless it's a cantrip.)

Yes, the "spell level" of a wand is based on the level of the spell slot used after any metamagic is applied, not on the level of the spell. Quickened Magic Missile is a first level spell, but it requires a 5th level spell slot to prepare and cast, so it would require a 5th level wand. Since wands only go up to 4th level, no Wands of Quickened MM.

A wand can certainly store a quickened cantrip.

The casting time of a spell is the same time required to activate the same power in an item, unless the item description specifically states otherwise.

The item description for wands does specifically state otherwise - it says it's a standard action... or the casting time of the spell if it's longer than a standard action.

Since a quickened spell does not have a casting time longer than a standard action, the time to activate a quickened wand is a standard action.

So firing a maximized Magic Missile wand takes a full round? When does the spell discharge from said wand?

A metamagic spell only takes a full round action (not a full round - two different time measurements) if you are casting a non-prepared spell (as a Bard or Sorcerer, or as a Druid or Cleric casting spontaneously).

Since a wand is about as prepared a spell as you can get, it's just like a wizard casting a maximized Magic Missile - a standard action.
