My character recently lost his body. His soul shortly before death was transported into An orb. Now the party is threatening to put me into an animals body. How would casting work. I am currently a 9th level spirit shaman. Verbal and Somatic are the question.

no humanlike hands = no somatic
incapable of speech = no verbal
(no component pouch = no material)

There are some feats which might help though...I think there's a feat to get around the voice problem...and of course there's always still and silent spell...but the "super feats" only help in wild shape, which this is not.

Sounds like time to take some lvls in being a druid. then take natural spell feat.

Assuming you do not have silent spell or still spell when this happens, you may need to adventure in your animal form until you acquire enough experience points to gain a level (or two or three) -- enough to take a feat. Take silent spell. The verbal components are the toughest to get around, since most spells have them. After a few more levels, you can take still spell.

You could also find someone willing to polymorph any object and take the form of a human. It would be permanent.

Or you could find a group that doesnt concist of a bunch of jerk-faced asshats. Why are they threatening to put you in an animal body?

Or you could find a group that doesn't consist of a bunch of jerk [...]This was going to be the content of my follow-up post.

Either get a new character because you have played this one so badly that the rest of the players want to see it gone, or get a new group because the folks you are playing with are exactly as smrtgmp described.
