squishycube 01-07-04, 05:04 PM	I got confused since I read about it in the most recent FAQ (Main35FAQv12052003) The question was if a animal companion would grow in size and the answer was no, but it wasn't quite clear to me if the Monster Advancement By HD shouldn't be used at all, or of just the size increment didn't apply. It seems logical to me that the animal companion would get more skillpoints and feats over time. Or is the bonus HD for hitpoint porpuses only? Wouldn't they have said so in the Bonus HD description? Well, any help is very welcome.
kreynolds 01-07-04, 05:23 PM	Is this a spell or magic item question. ;)
Seeker95 01-07-04, 06:50 PM	When this finally gets moved to the Classes board (or perhaps Player's Handbook board)... Ignore any Monster Manual information you may have access to. Animal Companion advancement is handled under Animal Companions in the Player's Handbook. Use that information only.
