Animal Friendship [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-12-04, 05:31 PM I just realized that this spell is no longer around in 3.5 so what did they raplace it with and if they didnt what to use in its place. for example Animal contro (feat) this spell is a pre-rec any suggestions.

08-12-04, 07:51 PM Anybody can do it with animal handling (the skill). Anywhere that requires the Feat, just require five ranks in animal handling.

08-13-04, 11:40 AM i got some good advice on some other boards, Rangers and Druids had to use animal friendship to acuire their companion now its a class feature so they suggest using the class feature instead.
just thought you would like to know.

08-13-04, 12:46 PM Yeah... for specific class skills, it was replaced and made inherent in the class. Whenever a feat or skill is "for druids" or "for rangers" go ahead and allow the class skill to accomplish it. When it is an otherwise "generally available" requirement, go ahead and use animal handling.
