Animate dead Caster Lvl from Multiple classes [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-28-06, 06:58 PM How does the caster level control limits for animate dead work when you have 2 seperate classes that can both cast it? For example, can a CLR5/WIZ7 control only 28 HD of undead (4x the highest caster lvl) or 20 HD produced by the cleric casting and 28 HD produced by arcane casting?

02-28-06, 08:01 PM like with all instances of seperate caster levels all things conected to those caster levels are calculated seperatly... thus seeker is correct, and you have to keep track of which class he is casting the spell as.
