| =BR=Luckyshot05-01-07, 02:26 AM | can a warforge "corpse" be effected by animate dead? |
| Vegepygmy05-01-07, 02:52 AM | Officially, warforged cannot become undead of any type. |
| mercboy66605-02-07, 11:08 AM | arnt they somewhat constructs? that means that this spell would not effect them. |
| sonofdrizzt05-02-07, 11:19 AM | A Warforged cannot be animated due to its body structure and the special circumstances of its "soul". A Warforged "soul" ,however, can be resurected or the like. ;) |

If you take a corpse that had the soul trapped or destroyed it could still be animated. Skeletons have to have bones. Warforged don't so can't be made into skeletons Zombies have to have had true anatomies. Warforged have artificial anatomies so can't be made into zombies. |

The soul comment was about ressurection and reanimation, not the other spell. jerky |

| jaelis05-03-07, 09:51 AM | Officially, warforged cannot become undead of any type. Not that I doubt you, but where is this explained? |
| forsaken111105-03-07, 10:23 AM | Officially, warforged cannot become undead of any type. There is no rule, to my knowledge, which prevents a warforged being raised as an undead. In fact, I found an answer from the sage which addresses this: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ask/20061220a A warforged could also be half-dragon, half-celestial, or half-fiendish as these can be added to any living corporeal creature. In a warforged, these might represent the incorporation of fiendish/draconic/celestial traits in the construction. |
| JulesCARV05-03-07, 10:38 AM | I think a warforged should be able to become a ghost (even though technically there's no provision for constructs becoming ghosts). Other undead, not so much. I think it would be kinda cool if the Karrnathis mixed warforged and undead into Karrnathi Necroforged, though. Not really an animated warforged corpse so much as a mixture of living construct bits and Karrnathi undead bits. They're what happens when House Cannith and Karrnathi necromancers work together :). |

Oddly enough, my current campaign revolves around the Deathforged Regiment of Karrnath. I won't bore you with the details, but they are exactly what they sound like. Warforged undead soldiers. |
