| katarl07-25-07, 02:16 PM | I'm afraid you've misunderstood the corpsecrafter feat, it gives your undead +2 hit points per hit die, not 4 more hit die. |
| bloodyhellman07-25-07, 03:30 PM | I thought I'd piggy back on this thread as the question is related: Can you cast Animate Dead on a slime/mold/jelly? I don't see why not. The spell states clearly the target type as 'creature' and in the description of oozes they are called a creature. I would think with jellies it'd be the same but a mold is a plant, and you can't have undead plants. Well, that'd actually be pretty cool but I'd have to rule that'd take a new spell entirely. But I digress. At any rate I'd have to think that animating an ooze would be the height of blasphemy to Ghaunadaur and his faithful would be alerted immediately. ;) |

Sure, you can cast the spell on oozes, but it won't work because skeleton and zombie templates can't be applied to 'em because they don't have bones. "Skeleton" is an acquired template that can be added to any corporeal creature (other than an undead) that has a skeletal system (referred to hereafter as the base creature). | ArcTan07-26-07, 01:55 AM | The Target: line refers to necessary but not sufficient conditions. (That is, yes, charm person works *only* on humanoid creatures, but not on *all* humanoid creatures. Not on ones who have mind blank cast, for example.) |
