Animation spell question? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-24-07, 08:24 PM Could anyone tell me if there is a spell that animates corpses as somthing stronger then a skelleton or zombie like a shadow or ghoul or somthing and if so what book it is in.

Nope, as futher undead in the other monster manuals require them to create them. Yes, it is true, new undead can't be created without core spells.

However, there are other ways to create undead and not using those spells but they only affect core undead.
Exception is Ghoul Guantlet makes lots of ghouls. Not that it is great but just a new way.
