07-14-05, 12:52 AM Antimagic Shell was the 2e name for Antimagic Field; there also is a similar - 9th-level - spell, Antimagic Aura, found in Magic of Faerūn, that has a Touch range instead of Personal.

07-14-05, 10:11 AM Antimagic field is a 6th level Mage spell found in the PHB that only affects the caster.

In one of the Faerun books, there is a 7th level mage spell called Anti-magic Aura, that can be cast on other people, a far more usefull version as by definition anyone that can cast an Anti-magic field uses magic a LOT.
