| Mordent_Sage12-28-06, 09:55 AM | Hi there, My big nasty villan has found himself a nice pocket of dead magic, and has set up his base of operations there. Being a Shadow Weave user, his magic still works there. My question is this - if a Weave user casts antimagic field on himself outside the dead magic zone, then walks in, will the dead magic overcome the antimagic (allowing the Shadow Weave caster to continue casting) or will the antimagic prevale (stoping the bad man from casting)? |

In addition, a Wish spell, which is magic, can 'heal' a dead magic area. For these reasons, Dead Magic does not stop all magic. It is a powerfull form of anti-magic. I would refer to the rules for Anti-Magic that state two anti-magic zones do not cancel each other out. As such, Anti-Magic can survive in anti-magic and therefore in a Dead-Magic Area. |
