Suppose a creature is surrounded by an anti-magic field effect that extends into all adjacent squares. What would happen if a creature shapechanged into a large creature attacked him in melee? I would say that if the shapechanger approached the field, he could choose to revert to his normal shape (size medium) and be within the field, adjacent to the creature or stay at 10 foot reach and maintain its full size. But what would happen, if the creature moved its field over part (let's say half) of the large shapechanged creature? What would happen if the large creature used his reach to attack the creature in the field?

once entering the antimagic field the shapechanged character would revert to normal form, if that character left the antimagic field and the shapechange spell still had time left then character would revert back to form it took before entering field.
Antimagic field suppresses magic, dosent dispel it.

I would say once antimagic field touches shapechanged character they revert back no matter how much it is touching, it still suppress's the spell in whole.so a character with a huge creature type due to a spell comes in contact with antimagic field, it is then suppressed in whole till no longer touching the field.
Just as if same character came in contact with a natural occuring deadmagic area.

This doesnt work since once the shapechanger revert back, he would not in the AMF. I would think that if the shapchanger shapechange into something larger, then the AMF winks out the body parts that are "within" the field. If the shapechanger's center is at the AMF, then it would wink out the entire spell. If the shapechanger changes to the same size as his original self, the AMF would wink out this effect once he step into the AMF
