| Seeker9512-18-06, 01:41 PM | Perhaps the text description of anti-magic field would be official enough? "Summoned creatures of any type and incorporeal undead wink out if they enter an antimagic field." |
| VanRiper12-19-06, 03:27 AM | That applies to summoned monsters, but how about astral constructs? The anti-magic spell says that it does nothing to constructs and the astral construct power says: "Astral constructs are not summoned; they are created on the plane you inhabit (using ectoplasm drawn from the Astral Plane). Thus, they are not subject to effects that hedge out or otherwise affect outsiders; they are constructs, not outsiders." So, does that mean they act as constructs for the anti-magic spell (and are thus unaffected)? |

So a "Summon Golem" spell would still have the golem wink out in an AMF, if it has a Duration. Now, I'm not sure what happens with "Bound" creatures. I suppose they stay here. So it depends on which one it is. |

It is a magic effect. It is suppressed in an AMF. |
