| Warweaver01-14-08, 02:17 AM | The text of AMF says "Two or more antimagic fields sharing any of the same space have no effect on each other." I am curious as to whether this means they block each other's effects, or pass through each other unaffected. I am wondering whether a Wizard with Archmage levels and Mastery of Shaping could fashion a 5 ft. cube in an AMF he casts, then walk into another AMF or dead magic zone and still cast spells. Anyone run into this? |

| Warweaver01-14-08, 07:09 AM | Related question: do all Conjuration (Creation) spells work through an AMF, as long as they "originate" from outside it? I know Melf's Acid Arrow and the Orb series do...but what about spells like Acid Breath (a cone)? |
| Watsyurname52901-14-08, 07:40 AM | I'm not sure on the Conj. but I think it would. As for your orginal question, the AMF's just overlap each other and continue to function normally. |
| Tedronai01-14-08, 11:36 AM | Instantaneous Conjuration (Creation) effects function normally within an AMF so long as they originate outside said field. Effects with a duration are affected normally. |

But if the center of either of them isn't in the area on the other they would be both standing since the spell is considered being the center of the circle. the area would just overlap each other and in the square that both are in effect the biggest one will prevail. |
