I've searched through the archives and cant find the answer to a problem that came up in my game.
The question is, what happens when a big, heavily buffed up creature is partially affected by antimagic?

The situation was when a huge creature had 2 squares in an antimagic shell. Questions which arose were:
* Do the buff spells affecting the creature still function?
* If they don't function for that area, but do for the rest of the creature, what happens to spells like haste (is just one hand hsated?)?
* If all buffs go down, can the creature be affected by other spells (such as a fireball which hits 2 squares on the opposite side of the creature)?

Anything even partially within the area of an emanation effect is affected by that emanation (was answered back a long time ago); consider the ridiculous situations you would have to adjudicate if otherwise handled ("Wonderful 2e, anyone?")... For example, if, say, you made a spell that granted the holy special ability (interesting idea, actually) to all weapons the weapons your allies within an emanation wielded (though I somehow see this working more like Horrid Wilting, unless you go for more people [like it being a Medium or Long range spell]), the reach weapons your front line troops wielded would still be holy even if partially outside the area of effect.
