Hi
Been searching the forums for a while now but without luck, i couldn't find any set items, uniques or whatsoever.
Could any of you lead me to one of these threds, if they exist?
Basically i'm looking for diablo-like items, set items (resonating items), uniques (minor artifacts), and so forth.

There was a (Short-lived, I believe) D20 system Diablo RP setting actually released... had magic items, character classes, etc... heck if I know where to track down the manuals now, but that would be a good place to start...

How about a life-draining ability? That was always good in Diablo and in NWN as well.

Vampiric
A vampiric weapon drinks in the blood spilt from a wound and converts it into healing energy for the weilder. For every point of 'Vampiric' enhancement added a point of damage from every blow is converted into healing. i.e. A +3 Vampiric [+2] Longsword hits a hill giant and does 14 damage. The weilder regains two hitpoints.
Prereqs: Vampiric Touch.

Is this over- or underpowered? And should the amount of healing be increased by critical hits?

If you want it strictly like Diablo, most of the life leech items converted a % of the damage you inflicted. It scales it so that 25% life leech mean roughly the same thing at 1st level that it did at 80th level. (i.e. 5 hp life leech is alot at level 1, but a joke at level 80.)

That might not work for typical D&D because the enemy to PC scale is way out of wack compared to Diablo.

Still, something like 5% of your damage dealt for each +1 enhancement to a max of +5 might work.

To the OP,

The only one that comes to mind was a lightning-enhanced weapon that added 1d20 lightning damage to the weapon for a +2 enhancement cost. It was homebrewed by my DM at the time.

Yeah, and i've got the book. The book is written so badly that it gives me stomach ache. Although it's a nice basis. Thanks

Seems easy to track and pretty balanced.

Yeah, seems nice. I'll try out one of these methods then :)

Do any of you guys have a link to some set items (uniques etc.)?

They did a 2nd Edition version then a pseudo-3rd edition admitting later that they based on beta 3rd edition rules.

Here's WOTC's page on that (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/main.asp?x=d2/diabloii,3)

The official WOTC Diablo II Online Magic Item Generator (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/diabloitems) is still there.
