Even though the spell prepared is an arcane spell, is it considered a divine spell when casted? If it's considered arcane, does that mean that a cleric with access to anyspell can qualify for a prestige class which requires you to cast arcane spells?

It's divine. You use divine energy to emulate an arcane spell. You don't actually cast the spell itself.

You don't emulate an arcane spell. You prepare an arcane spell.

No.

Your character uses divine energy to cast divine spells. He cannot cast arcane spells without levels in an arcane caster class.

So, by definition, all spells cast by a divine caster are divine spells. Even the ones prepared using Anyspell.

That would normally be correct, but for one caveat.
Said caveat would be if said spell made a special exception to the norm.

Anyspell states that you cast it as a wizard. Thus, my interpretation is it should be cast as an arcane spell. This would be a special exception to the norm that only a divine spellcaster can cast divine spells, because the spell explicitly makes such a provision.

However, one possible side-effect I can see is that the spell you cast this way then suffers from ASF....

Customer Service, or a FAQ, or something ruled on this a few years ago. They ruled that the spells cast through Anyspell were divine.

I remember this because it closed down a lot of talk about a Cleric with Anyspell and Greater Anyspell qualifying for Mystic Theurge with only one level of Wiz.

I also remember it because that interpretation specifically opened up the Hexer PrC (Masters of the Wild) to non-Adepts because it allowed clerics to cast Lightning Bolt as a divine spell.

Anyspell states that you cast it as a wizard.

Look up the revision in the Spell Compendium. They clarified it.

[...]When you cast the arcane spell, it works just as though cast by a wizard of your cleric level except that your Wisdom score sets the save DC (if applicable). You must have a Wisdom score of at least 10 + the arcane spell's level to prepare and cast it. Your holy symbol substitutes for any noncostly material component[...]

Uh, that still says it's cast as if by a wizard, and there's nothing there that says it's divine. It says it uses your wisdom instead of your intelligence, but that doesn't make it divine any more than Weapon Finesse lets you shoot guys from across the room with your rapier.
