in the rules it says that a touch spell may be used as a full round action and be cast on all players in adjacent sqaures, affecting up to 6 people. does this work for healing. my DM says it doesnt becuase then cure light wound for example would be the same as cure light wounds mass. i think hes wrong. so can some1 clear this up for us

Cure Light Wounds
Target: Creature touched

Only one creature is affected by the spell.
Sure you can touch 5 other creatures, but the magic of the spell has already been spent in the first touch.

Actually, the rules say:Some touch spells allow you to touch multiple targets. You can touch as many willing targets as you can reach as part of the casting, but all targets of the spell must be touched in the same round that you finish casting the spell.Note the word some. The touch ranged cure spells all have a target of "creature touched," which means they only work on a single individual.

In other words, your DM is correct.

but it also says, on page 141, that if you dont discharge a touch spell in the round you cast the spell.you can hold onto the charge indefinatly. you can continue making touch attacks round after round. you can touch one friend as a standard action or up to six freinds as a full round action.

Thats if you miss, of if you cast a touch spell that specifically states that it can be used to touch more than once, such as chill touch (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/chillTouch.htm) .

You dont have to make an attack roll to touch a friend, and the spell doesnt mention touching more than a single target, so it wont work.

The first person you heal, the spell is discharged.

ok thanks for help. that rule is just kind of confusing, because the part i read didnt say "some" spells it jsut said you can touch one or 6. tht was the major part that confused me
