Johnathan_Vagabond 04-24-08, 11:41 AM	I had the idea of a battlefield controller that made moving into certain squares unpleasant. What would an appropriate +spell level be? Patient Spell You cast a spell with a range other than personal into a square within its range. The spell has no effect until a creature enters that squre, at which point it activates as normal. During this time the spell has an obvious visual, auditory, and sensory effect.
Anyr 04-24-08, 11:53 AM	This feat sounds very similar to the Earthbound Spell feat in PHB 2, which has a +2 adjustment. Edit: On second thought, Earthbound Spells are hard to detect and not at all obvious to the eye. A variant which is easily visible might warrant only a +1.
qwerty1 04-24-08, 11:54 AM	I would say around +2 to +4. I based this number on Fireball (SL 3) and Delayed Blast Fireball (SL 7).
