Can you mix Arcane magic and Divine Magic?

There is a Wizard in the group that wants our
Cleric to cast Righteous Might on him so he can
make it Permanent.

And if it makes a difference they do not have
same dieties, similiar alignments one LG other NG.

Can this be done?

I know righteous Might is similiar to Enlarge
and I know Enlarge can be perm, and if the
mix of Arcane and Divine is possible I will
probably allow, I just need to know about
the mixing?

Only slightly less different than a multiclass Wiz/Clr. It should work.

Righteous Might has a range of personal, which means the Cleric can't cast it on anybody but himself.

The wizard could eventually learn Limited Wish, and so long as Transmutation is not a prohibited school, he could use a Limited Wish to duplicate the effects of Righteous Might.

However, I don't think Righteous Might is the type of spell that one should be making permanent. Most of the short duration spells aren't proper for permanency. This would definitely be one of them.

You are right. It is personal. So this application is not allowed.

Thank You.

The main point I am trying to determine is will the arcane spell permanancy,
work with a divine spell (as example Righteous Might).

All the spells I see listed in the permanancy section all seem to be arcane.

I know my players will ask about other divine spells made permanent (such as sanctuary).

MAIN QUESTION: Can you use arcane magic to make a divine spell permanent?

I see no reason why that wouldn't be allowed in principle.

In the spell description for permanency, where it talks about making personal spells permanent, it says, "You cast the desired spell and then follow it with the permanency spell." But when it talks about other spells, it says nothing about you being the one who casts them.

Although, keep in mind that any spell not listed in the spell's description needs to be researched, and the DM does not need to allow any new applications to work. But he can allow them (even divine with divine spells) by the RAW.

Animate objects is divine, right? I thought that spell could be made permanent
