Hi Guys. Hope I got the correct board for this one….

Right so I’m playing a Beguiler 1 / Focused ‘Transmutator’ 4 / Ulimtate Magus +

Feats – Arcane Disciple (Healing), Extend Spell, Metamagic Focus.

First a little back story. I took the Arcane Disciple without reading it properly - I didn’t realise that it was only 1/day per level (not that great when you not going to gain another spell casting level in Beguiler until level 7!).

I was about to talk to the DM about changing it out ( I had hardly ever used it) when (In Character) I got a Wand Of Magic Missile. So this got me looking at wands… when I relised that the feat might not be useless after all…

If I get the Craft Wand feat….

1) Would it allow me to cast the 1 Cure Light Wounds thereby making a wand of Cure Light wounds?
2) Would I be able to use this Wand just like a normal wand? (Even if I had used the ability to cast my 1 ‘spellbook’ cure LWs already that day)
3) Even if not 2, I could still give it to our Cleric (as we now have one, unlike when I choose Arcane Dip Grrrr) for the to use?

Thanks in advance

the feat already allows you to use wands of CLW, CMW, & CCW because these spells are now on your personal 'list'. you dn'na need the Craft Wand feat to do this.

SMEG!!! anyway, hit enter to quick. also take into consideration that with the Craft Contingent Spell feat or the contingency and chain contengecy(from T&B, alright this one isn't viable till ya achieve 9th lvl casting and of course haven't ditched evocation) spells allow you to layer on several healing options for yourself. another way to get more milage outta these spells is the Craft Staff feat and then makeing a Runestaff of Healing or the like.

1) Yes, you can create an arcane wand of Cure Light wounds.

2) Yes, you can use this wand like a normal wand, perhaps even using up all 50 charges in 50 rounds.

3) Yes, you can give your wand to a cleric, or even take his wand and use it.
