| Valoy_Muniz10-18-06, 02:27 PM | I have just seen a 2 new soc only spells Arcane Fusion (5th level usesing 1 and 4th level spell or lower), ANd greater Arcane Fussion(8th level using 4th and 7th level spell or lower) that let you cast 2 spells at once for one spell slot. I realy like this and would probly take it as on of my spells. The only thing that I am woundering is if you put a meta magi on it what is the effect. Like if I use a empowered Arcane fusion (7th level slot) to cast Fireball and Magic missle. Would it cast in effect empowered Fireball and empowered Magic Missle? I think this would. If so this is a very powerfull spell as you can easly get 4 spell in 1 round with a quicken and a non quicken verson of this. |

What you can do is use the Greater Arcane Fusion spell to produce a regular Arcane Fusion spell and get two lvl 4 spells and a lvl 1 spell. Two Orb spells and a True Stike seems reasonable for a lvl 8 slot when a twined Orb would still use up a lvl 8 slot. Also note that for a Sorcerer to use Quicken Spell, they normally require either a house rule or an extra feat. It is possible to use Arcane Spellsurge from Dragon Magic in conjuction with any metamagic that only increases a spell by one level to get off two Greater Arcane Fusions in a round to produce two lvl 1 spells and four lvl 4 spells, but it will use up a lvl 8 & 9 spell slot, and a mage may have better choices for those slots. |
