How many magic items does the Arcane order have? There are lots of books and I was hoping there were interesting spellpool items out there. Please give me book references if possible.

Its unfortunate that Between Tome & Blood and The Complete Arcane that the spellpool has changed slightly - you can now no longer have positive balances to trade (I thought that was great for RP & game plots). For RP value I have left it the old way.

As for my own spellpool item idea:
A wand (keyed to an individual(?), usable by wizards only) that allows you to cast any wizard spell you could normally cast! One charge per level of the spell (Ie. Second level spell costs 2 charges). The wand charges have to be replaced by the caster at a cost of 5(?):1. To replace a spell you simply cast any wizard spell into the wand (which gets added to the spellpool). There would be 3 types of wands: I: able to cast spell levels 1-3, II:levels4-6, III: levels 7-9. As this item is currently in the testing phase only level I spellpool wands have been created.

The excessive cost should stop abuse. I may need to add a maximum number of uses per day/week/month...In that you need to put 5 levels of spells in to use a first level spell - is 5 too low? too high? I don't want to mess with sorcerors so I left it wizard only. I was contemplating forcing people to pay into the pool in advance (the arcane order would prefer this no doubt) and having a maximum limit of usage per day/week/month. Much like a bank, if they had 10,000 spells in the spellpool they can use those spells for things before you call on them - in fact for some it could be a very long time. An elf might add spells to the pool for a century before needing to call on the pools reserve (probably in times of war, when it never hurts to be able to cast fireball after fireball from the wand). I'll probably need to cap the positive balance for game balance, say 50 (because this is a wand) - which means I wouldn't need to have a max per day/week/month.
