Arcane sight vs. limit of vision [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-02-04, 02:13 PM If a charater has dark vision of 60 feet or has limited vision due to mist, fog, or darkness (magical or none magical) does arcane sight still work to a limit of 120 feet or does it only work to the limit of the charaters vision?

10-02-04, 06:07 PM You can see auras to the end of the Arcane Sight, but you can't tell what school they're from, nor whether a creature has spellcasting abilities unless you have an actual line of sight.
