The 8th Samurai 02-02-06, 06:39 PM	I am thinking of playing an Archivist from Heroes of Horror. I was reading about the Dark Knowledge abilities. There is one called Dread Secret. You could dazzle, daze, or possibly even stun the target of Dark Knowlege Dread Secret. I was wondering if the target is allowed a saving throw against being dazzled, dazed, or stunned? It doesn't state in the description of the ability, but that would be very powerful to be able to stun a target with no saving throw allowed. The save DC of Archivist's spells is 10 + the spell level + the Archivist's Int modifier. However, Dark Knowledge is not a spell. So, I am still not sure if there is a saving throw or not against Dark Knowledge. Seems there is not a saving throw to me, but just wanted to find out what others thought on the subject. Happy gaming
Immurmodi 02-02-06, 06:46 PM	It is an very powerful ability but you can only use it once on each creature unless i misremember, As for the question you posed : it looks like there is no saving throw against the effects.
