My question is rather simple...I think.

When you shape a spell that has a duration other than instantaneous, Ex: An Antimagic Field, can you continue to shape it for the duration of the spell? Meaning, if I were to create a hole centered on myself in the field, could I then patch the hole back up, create new holes, and so forth?

Also, do I have to prepare the spell as shaped, or is it instantaneous? The flavor of the class seems to lean towards shaping it as you go but I have to ask since I'll be eligible for it in a level and I know these questions will come up as I proceed to slaughter the opposition

I am pretty sure you choose what to shape at the time of casting the spell, but your decision cannot be reversed once the spell has been cast, since your window for deciding how it should be shaped has already closed.
