I'm currently away from any books that may have example grid layouts of the areas of spells. Could someone confirm which is correct for me? A 20-foot radius burst fills 5-ft squares as option A or B below?

A:
XXXOOXXX
XOOOOOOX
XOOOOOOX
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
XOOOOOOX
XOOOOOOX
XXXOOXXX

B:
XXOOOOXX
XOOOOOOX
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOO
XOOOOOOX
XXOOOOXX

(1) You said you're away from books, so I assume you know about DMG pg 307 and just can't look at it.

(2) If you're ever stuck, just count distance using the standard metric but count from corner to corner rather than centre to centre. You have to completely cross a square to affect it.
