The armor special ability Speed from Defenders of the Faith gives the following ability to armor:
Speed: This armor or shield enchantment provides a +4 haste bonus to AC and gives the wearer an extra partial action every round, as the haste spell. (...) Market Price: +3 bonus

Isn't this extremely unbalanced? For a +3 market bonus, you get a +4 haste bonus to your AC, which alone seems to be unbalanced, but it doesn't even take into account that the haste bonus can be used for your touch AC as well, and you get an extra partial action!
Am I missing something? And if you agree that this is unbalanced, what should be the price be instead?

Interesting...3.0 haste lives on.

If that armor is continuously effective (Don't have DotF), then it's definitely unbalanced.

What you might do to rebalance it is to change the effects to those of 3.5 haste.

That was a mistake.

They errated to being +7 not +3.

Has anyone seen an "official" conversion of this armor power? I have a character in a campaign with it (YES it is unbalancing. YES. Even at +7 Market, try move & full attack every round!) and we are trying to figure out what to do...and cannot find *any* conversion rules for this armor power.

Funny, because I remember seing it errated to a 10 rounds/day useage, at the same +3 cost..

They errataded it twice. The +7 was the latest errata, so that was the one I gave.

Where, exactly, did they publish this "latest errata"?

Well, don't.

The MainFAQ 3.5 doesn't address this subject, so the MainFAQ 3E holds true. And it only suggests to make the effect last for 10 rounds for a +2 price modifier.
