I know this ability exists but not anymore in which book :rolleyes:

Could it have been in 2E? The "crushing damage" part would fit then.

I think I remember what you're talking about. It's either in Complete Warrior or Complete Adventurer. Probably Complete Warrior.

Complete Warrior has:
Anti-Impact:Bludgeoning damage that affects all or most of the body (such as falling or constriction damage) is halved. Weapon damage is not affected.

In CW there is also maceblock, it gives you damage reduction 5/piercing or slashing.
