The reason I ask is because I don't own the book and none of my local bookstores carries it at the moment (or any time in the next month or two). Also, when duel-wanding, I don't think that I can quicken both of them in the same round with metamagic spell completion (and w/e the other one was), but I'm making sure. Also, was the artificer only arcane or both arcane and divine item crafter? I know that they cast thier spells called infusions, but for the purpose of actually crafting items which spell type do they have access to? Also, way after I even wanted to be an artificer, I noticed that if I were to make a few scrolls of Time Stop, about 10 wands of Fireball (10th), and take the duel-wand, quicken spell, maximize spell, enlarge spell, and quickdraw, I could do 3 fireballs per round, for 7 rounds with each scroll of times stop (14 rounds total), at the expense of about 3-4 wands (depending on if I had done this the previous round or not). That translates (depending on how u look at it) to 2730~3790 fire damage (or just 3790 if for w/e reason u enterpret the maximize and enlarge to stack on eachother, because as far I know nobody's come to a conclusion on that). Kinda funny that ppl can have the power to do this, but not even realize it :P. Well, would like an answer to my question, because if for w/e reason I can do 2 quickened spells using wands, then I'd be doing a lot more damage without realizing it, and I'd be able to make wish items at level 15 :D... |
