SALT SCIMITAR
Conjuration (Summoning)
Level- Sor/Wiz 6
Components- V, S, F, M
Casting Time- 1 action
Range- Close (25 ft. +5 ft/2 levels
Effect- One Sword
Duration- 1 round/ level
Saving Throw- Yes (see Text)
SR- Yes (see Text)

This spell calls into your possession a jagged, scimitar shaped chunk of Salt. The scimitar strikes at any opponent within its range, as you desire, starting in the round that you cast the spell. The scimitar attacks its designated target once each round on your turn. Its attack bonus is equal to your caster level + your Int bonus or your Cha bonus (for wizards or sorcerers, respectively) with an additional +2 enhancement bonus. It deals 2d6+2 points of damage, with a threat range of 18-20 and a critical multiplier of ×3. Also, any target wounded by a Salt Scimitar must make a Fortitude Save (DC as Spell) or become sickened.
The scimitar always strikes from your direction. It does not get a bonus for flanking or help a combatant get one. If the scimitar goes beyond the spell range from you, if it goes out of your sight, or if you are not directing it, the scimitar returns to you and hovers.
Each round after the first, you can use a standard action to switch the scimitar to a new target. If you do not, the scimitar continues to attack the previous round’s target.
The scimitar can be attacked and harmed by physical attacks and magic. The scimitar has 5 HP per Caster Level (Max 75 HP) and its Saves are identical to yours at the time of casting, the scimitar’s AC is 12 (10, +0 size bonus for Medium object, +2 deflection bonus).
If an attacked creature has spell resistance, the resistance is checked the first time the Salt Scimitar strikes it. If the scimitar is successfully resisted, the spell is dispelled. If not, the scimitar has its normal full effect on that creature for the duration of the spell.

(note- the following 3 spells appeared in a highly broken form in the World of Warcraft RPG by SSS, I believe I have made them fairly balanced here)

BRILLIANT RUBY AURA
Transmutation
Level- Sor/Wiz 5
Components- V,S,F,M,XP
Casting Time- 1 Full-Round Action
Range- Personal
Duration- 1 round/ level (D)

On the Completion of this spell you are bathed in a Brilliant Crimson Aura that sheds bright light out to 20ft and shadowy illumination out to 40ft. It also revitalizes the spell casting of your minor Spells. You may make a Spellcraft Check as a free action when casting a Spell of 3rd level or lower to retain the spell or spell slot after casting. The Spellcraft DC is determined by the following method, 20+(spell levelx3)
Example- A Sor 10 with a total spellcraft modifier of +17 casts this spell, and then casts a Scorching Ray spell, he then rolls a 18, adds his +17 modifier and gets a 35, easily making the DC 26 check and keeping the 2nd level spell slot. Next casting a Fireball spell, he rolls a 3, getting a total of 20 on his check, missing the DC 29 check and losing the 3rd level spell slot as normal.

Focus

An amulet crafted from finest silver with a flawless, eye sized ruby imbedded in the middle, costing at least 5,000 gp

Salt Scimitar. Compare to Spiritual Weapon. It does more damage, sure (although the cleric spell scales up), and has the sickening effect, but it can also be destroyed through mundane means, and it requires a standard action to redirect instead of a move action. Altogether, not a very potent 6th level spell. I'd make it a move action to redirect and make it a 3rd level spell. (I'd also eliminate the focus component. The material component is sufficient).

Miscast Magic. You can get a similar effect with Silence (although the silent spell feat gives a target a way out). Silence can effect multiple creatures, though. And, of course, any spellcaster worth their salt can save against your spell. But even if they don't, they get to keep trying. Not sure of the best fix, but as written, it's level 3-ish.

The spell boosts are pretty cool. I'd remove the penalty, though. The bonuses aren't so big that you need to balance them with a penalty. I'd have to playtest it to get a good sense of how well they fit level-wise.

For the Brilliant Auras, the components are too harsh. (There's no reason for the highest-level one to be more demanding than Wish.) Look at scaling that back. Like with the spell boosts, I'd have to playtest to get a good idea of how balanced they are.

Hope this helps, or inspires some more people to post for you, even if it's to disagree with me :)

All spells, even those you cast on yourself, should have an SR line.

It should be Yes for all the spells you listed here, including Miscast Magic.

All spells, even those you cast on yourself, should have an SR line.

It should be Yes for all the spells you listed here, including Miscast Magic.
Only the odd spell has SR and save lines for "Range: Personal" and "Target: You". Spells that don't have both those lines are debatable. And these fit that.

As for the "No spell should grant caster levels", check Death Knell ('http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndLive/spells.php?ID=3116'), Consumptive Field ('http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndLive/spells.php?ID=5327'), and Spell Enhancer ('http://www.imarvintpa.com/dndLive/spells.php?ID=4441')
