Astral Projection question! [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-01-06, 05:51 PM Stupid question but here I go: Can I astral project to the astral plane and find a portal thingy to the material plane? If so would it just be an exact duplicate of me?

08-01-06, 07:06 PM This was one of the first questions I ever asker asked on these forms, oddly enough, though I phrased it as casting Gate back to the material plane. Any way, the answer I got was that yes, you would have 2 bodies. One would be asleep and the other awake.

08-01-06, 07:21 PM If you check the planer handbook, (or whatever it's called) you can't see or enter a portal to the plane you projected from.
